I had the chance to try out the s7e for a week a few months back. I really loved the phone except for one thing: the edge
Not only did I get super frustrated with ghost touches but I was annoyed by the lost screen real estate and the light "bending" around the edges which makes the display seem "circumcised" for a lack of a better word.
As far as the real world use of this gimmick: I could and would love to live without it and the S7 is just not an option because I love a bigger screen + battery.
Consequentially I went through the torture of waiting for the HTC10 and purchased it a week ago and I must say I am not impressed.
After spending a few days with the HTC i started regretting my decision and now I am thinking about going "back" to the s7e.
What is your experience with the "edges"? do you find yourself getting used to them or do you also wish them away?
Did you play with the thought of getting the HTC10 instead for this exact reason?
I hope you can encourage me to give the s7e another try!
